Have fun getting lost in the maze!Since when has getting lost been so much fun! The Illuminated maze at Stockeld Park is suitable for all ages. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Free entry for children under 3 years old.This year (2010) our magical maze has acquired a Castle Tower to climb, a Children Of The World Globe and some musical instruments – but solve the maze puzzle of finding your way to these magical places if you can first!
The Snowflake Iluminated MazeLooking for a maze near Leeds, Harrogate, or York to delight the kids? Stockeld Park, Wetherby, Yorkshire, has the amazing 'snowflake maze'. As well as growing Christmas trees, we also grow yew trees, so we thought, why not use some of them to create a maze. And what a maze! There are over a mile of paths, and 12 gates, depicting the 12 different images which can be opened and closed in different combinations - so even if you have been before, and have a good memory, you won't find the same way in and out of the maze. The maze, which is designed in the shape of a vast snow flake, is illuminated by LED lights, so it is stunning at any time of day or evening. Halloween's Scary MazeThe maze at Stockeld Park is great fun, for all ages, any day from October through to January. On just three nights of the year, at Halloween, our maze becomes a magical spooky maze. On Halloween's Fright Nights this year (2010), it turns into the scary Psycho Maze and is perhaps a place for older children only ..
