| This was our second visit to Stockeld Park which we thoroughly enjoyed. The real ice rink this year was so easy to skate on and we enjoyed the nordic skiing. The additional Helter skelter was fun bringing back childhood memories and the Big wheel was enjoyed by us all as was the enchanted forest and the snowflake maze. The new cafe was very nice and not so busy the cakes and drinks were delicious and not too overpriced. We came with a teenager and grandparents and there was something for everyone and if not just enjoy the Christmas atmosphere!! It is a great visit a few days before Christmas as you leave feeling very festive.A great value family day out!

| We were 2 nannies that visited on Wednesday this week with 5 children between us. Weather was appalling, but children loved the woodland walk with the magical elements it had for them. The only downside to our visit was that we did not get to walk around the Snowflake Maze as well as the Woodland Walk too with our entrance fee, there was no chance we could afford a second payment to do the maze. :( Maybe they should look at combining these two activities for the entrance fee only?

| I enjoyed the skiing, but the ice rink was so incredibly slippery that many people were finding it a real challenge to skate. It wasn't resurfaced when it was scheduled to be 'because it would make the problem worse' the supervisor told me. The maze was good and the enchanted wood was fun, such a shame that the ice rink let the experience down.

| After getting over the initial shock of how pricey everything was, my family had a lovely visit. Though we would have liked to have taken our 3yr old to the Grotto as promised, were dissappointed there was a 3hr wait (even though I rang 2wks before and was told we didnt need to book!)A little more organisation is required and maybe reduced fees please!£7 for a 3yr old to walk around the park is too expensive. Sorry! STOCKELD PARK SAYS: THANK YOU FOR YOUR COMMENT. THERE IS A HUGE INVESTMENT IN THE ENCHANTED FOREST. THE PIECES ARE MADE BY ARTISTS AND THE LIGHTING EFFECTS AND SOUND EFFECTS ARE DIFFICULT, EXPENSIVE AND COMPLICATED TO ACHIEVE. WE ARE ONLY OPEN FOR 10 WEEKS IN THE YEAR, 20% OF THE SALES PRICE GOES IN VAT, SO WE REGRET WE HAVE TO MAKE A CHARGE.

| Just returned from a great afternoon at the xmas adventure, we did the snowflake maze which was great, then the enchanted maze which was magical, would definitely recommend this when dark. Downside has to be the cafe, very disappointing, £5 for a panini on its own on a paper plate, and a ridiculously slow service!
