Come visit us on Saturday 6 November 2010. Why? Because there is a very special guest with us that day. A Polar Bear from the Arctic!
The Polar Bear is friendly and will let you get close. It's handler, an Inuit, will be there to advise you on how not to frighten the animal. The Inuit, the bears best friend and traveling companion from the icy North, is very knowledgeable and happy to tell you all about their bear. Come along and meet a very special visitor.
Saturday 6 November 2010 - a Polar Bear arrives from the North Pole! The otherwise shy Polar Bear will come out to meet people at 1pm, 2pm and 3.30pm. Meeting the Polar Bear is a free event at Stockeld Park.

Come and meet our very special guests and find out all kinds of fascinating facts about Polar Bears and their environment; where they live, what they eat and how they survive in an extreme climate. This amazing show gives you the opportunity to discover the magic of meeting one of these incredible animals up close!
