The Estate

The Enchanted Forest, skating, maze, Nordic Skiing trial and special events held on the Stockeld Park estate are open to the public from October Half Term.

Stockeld Park is a 2000 acre estate which lies 3 miles to the North West of Wetherby. It has 3 tenanted farms and 28 let properties.

In the past, agriculture and farm rentals have supported the Estate including the maintenance of the House and the let properties. However, with a steady decline in farming and increasing costs in maintenance, the Estate has had to diversify.

Over the past years, Stockeld has developed a successful business in the wholesale of Nordman Fir Non Needle Drop Christmas Trees. It is now the largest and finest Christmas Tree grower in Yorkshire, if not the country.

In 2006, Stockeld saw the opportunity in developing a Christmas tree retail site. From this the The Christmas Adventure was born. Visitors are invited to a unique Christmas Experience where they can buy a fresh Christmas tree and choose to do one activity for free, including skating, nordic skiing and getting lost in a huge snowflake illuminated maze.

Stockeld opens to the public from October half term onwards and offers a host of Halloween activities and Half Term fun for all the family.

Stockeld also operates an online shop called www.echristmastrees.co.uk where customers can buy fresh Christmas tree online which can be delivered nationwide direct from the field to your doorstep. www.echristmastrees.co.uk also sells a range of luxury hand picked Christmas baubles and Christmas decorations.
