Stockeld Park opens from Fri 23rd October 2009 for Half Term and Halloween fun!
Stockeld Park is a country estate near Wetherby, in Yorkshire. The house remains a family home and is open to historical groups by appointment only. The estate opens to the public from October half term onwards for Halloween and family fun including skating, skiing and other winter activities. Stockeld is also Yorkshire's finest Christmas tree grower and hosts the hugely popular The Christmas Adventure.
Stockeld Park is primarily an agricultural estate and has built a reputation as Yorkshire's finest Christmas tree grower.
From October half term to the beginning of January, Stockeld Park hosts an inspirational seasonal event which includes October Half Term and Halloween activities and the 'award winning' Christmas Adventure offering skating, nordic skiing, an Enchanted Wood, a huge snowflake maze, Santa's Grotto, a Christmas shop and Woodland cafe.
During the Adventure Season visitors to Stockeld Park can enjoy skating, Nordic skiing, a walk through the illuminated Enchanted Wood, getting lost in the snowflake-shaped maze, browsing in the Christmas shop and indulging in the Woodland Cafe, plus a fun packed schedule of special events and activities.
